For some reason when I try to install the Android version the installation gets interrupted because, as my tablet says, it was made for an older version of Android and so it lacks the security measures introduced in the latest versions. Should I install it anyway or wait until it gets updated?

Yeah, that’s expected. The current APK is built for Android 5+ with a target of Android 9. On newer devices, Android throws that compatibility warning — you’ll need to tap “More details” and then the tiny “Install anyway” button that shows up.
