Yeah, that’s expected. The current APK is built for Android 5+ with a target of Android 9. On newer devices, Android throws that compatibility warning — you’ll need to tap “More details” and then the tiny “Install anyway” button that shows up.
Can’t fix it right now since I’m coding on a potato phone with no PC. Once my new mobile assault tank (phone) arrives, I’ll be able to compile Cordova myself and retarget to Android 16, which should cover Android 8–16 smoothly.
For now, just hit “Install anyway.” You might also get a Play Protect warning saying it’s malicious — that’s just because it’s not on Google Play. Ignore it and proceed.
And no, it’s not a virus. HTML5 apps can’t do system-level damage, and I’ve got zero interest in your data. Quick search will confirm.
