I've been running a series in most of 2019 about the best indie games that flew under the radar in 2019. I'm talking about the most obscure stuff out there, which means most of them came from right here on Itch.io. There were a lot of candidates this year, and it was difficult to narrow the selection down, but I was able to narrow that list down to 18 games, with 15 of those coming from Itch.io, which is a pretty incredible number. If you ask me, that points to how great this website truly is, at both providing a safe place for developers to gather and post their games, and for gamers to play those games.
2019 was a great year for the site, and here are what I believe to be the best games and demos of the year from it.
