It was not and the situation seems to have resolved itself. Weird! 

Published (public) content is always shown on profiles, regardless of NSFW setting. (unless you explicitly hid it in your theme editor). The NSFW filter only applies to browse pages on the main itch.io domain. If I had to guess they may have made a mistake when publishing it.
