Tips for Getting Your Game Noticed on itch.io

I’m new to itch.io and looking for advice on how to make a game stand out on the platform. What strategies have worked for you sharing on social media, participating in game jams, or collaborating with other developers? Any tips for optimizing the game page to attract players would be really helpful.

I'm no expert, but I  think if your game makes the front page, then  it will stand out.   You'll have to ask someone  else about how get your game on the front page though.

The usual: make an interesting game page for your games, interact with the community, rate other games, participate in jams, write the occasional devlog. If you have social media, share your itch.io page with your followers. Be patient; it takes time to be noticed on a site with more than a million games.
