Hey folks!
I’m starting a small indie game studio on a rev-share basis (no upfront pay, but everyone gets a fair slice of revenue). Our goal? Make small, unique games that we actually want to play, grind on, and be proud of.
About Me:
I’m the lead writer: story, characters, dialogue, worldbuilding. I don’t program, so I’m looking for folks who can turn ideas into actual games.
Who We’re Looking For:
-
Programmers: Someone who can build prototypes and full games. Bonus if you can help with design.
-
Artists/Animators: 2D or low-poly 3D, flexible with styles, can handle assets for small projects.
-
Sound / Music: We need someone to create audio and music for our games. This is a required role for making the projects feel alive.
-
Designers: Help scope projects, refine mechanics, maybe even co-create.
Traits We Love:
-
Passion for indie games and unique ideas.
-
Reliable and communicative, rev-share only works if we actually deliver.
-
Flexible and willing to wear multiple hats.
-
Creative thinkers who can contribute ideas, not just execute tasks.
What You Get:
-
Creative ownership of projects, you’ll help shape the games we make.
-
Rev-share: Everyone gets a piece of the revenue if the game sells.
-
Small, collaborative team: Your contributions matter.
How We’ll Work:
-
Pitch ideas, prototype quickly, pick a game everyone is excited about.
-
Focus on small, achievable projects first (think 1–3 months dev).
-
Communication via Discord/Notion/Trello, flexible but organized.
