I wanted to find an app to keep my itch io library organized, but when tried to download the latest version, I was redirected to an "Invalid file requested" blank page. I tried to download using many methods, but all of them lead to this page.

Step 1: Go to https://itch.io/app

Step 2: Click on "Start Download"

Step 3: Get redirected to the blank page (https://broth.itch.zone/install-itch/windows-amd64/LATEST/unpacked/default) with the "Invalid file requested".

Still, I managed to download the installer from github, and I get another error:

So, seems there is (at least in my case) no way to install the app.

well, i also got this problem this morning until now midnight already. . . still can't install or download the app from site. . .

Same problem here. Hopefully it's an intermittent outage, or something.
Edit: Seems to have cleared up. Wonder if we'll ever know what the story was behind the scenes?

same thing for me but I also can’t download any new games on the app. It says something like missing token. I don’t know if it’s related but that’s happening to me too

Same issue here. I had it installed on my steamdeck a few days ago and reimaged it to start fresh, but now I can't download the installer at all. On the Steam Desktop, if that makes any difference for troubleshooting.

same here. had a different error in the app itself right before this and wanted to reinstall the app, but nope lol
