To be honest, I am confused by the word “tool”.

This seems like curated list of links, which, while beautifully decorated and probably useful, does not actually has any inherent functionality. Or am I missing something?

Currently, is not it very similar to something like this https://itch.io/game-assets/free/tag-16x16/tag-sprites

or this https://itch.io/c/4839598/tile-maps (just an example)

Tool is the only Itch Project category that makes sense. I made a Bundle of resources to help you build worlds in this specific pixel art style, similar to tools in a toolbox.

While Itch does have the Collection feature, like in your link, that’s more generic; there’s a limit to context you can add to the items within it; plus you can’t do subgroups like I’ve done.

Any feedback, ideas or additions from others?
