I would like to suggest. When automatic translation in the game, selecting the whole screen for translation, you can select a place where translation is not needed. For example, remove the translation on the edges of the screen where it says: ‘Settings’, “History”, ‘Auto’.

And I would also like to add, is it possible in the future to make it so that the translation was the same colour as the original text?

Hi mate,

Thank you for the suggestions!

At the moment, the translations modes that the app offers, are not intended to be used on many types of different areas at once (i.e. fullscreen). However, I do plan on adding the ability to select several areas that translate simultaneously. Which would solve your issue.

Regarding the last question - this is already the standard option for the app. Maybe you have selected 'High Contrast' in the Font tab? The text colour algorithm I have implemented is not perfect, so it will sometimes fail.

Unless you were talking about the 'Manual mode'?

Sorry, again I didn't notice.Thank you.

From what I've seen, it's possible to add a Custom API (beta 0.4.9). Will there be a guide on how to do it? I've tried, but I don't know how to do it at all. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No worries! Yes, I do plan on adding some sort of tutorial for it here on the forums. However, it is in many cases not super easy, at least not if you intend to self-host. Not all models are hosted the same way.

Maybe if you google 'how to self-host huggingface translation model' you might get all the way there.

I'm heading to bed, I don't think I will have time to write any tutorial for the next few days, but I should be able to find some links for you that will explain how to set it up.

Cheers!
