It’s possible, I would ask you to try and disable it and see if the problem still happens.
I’ll explain why I think this. “Preload Anims” loads all images of a scene to memory on the start of a scene to make transitions faster, however, Banana (Dazed 1) is the biggest scene in the game with about 400 images, and all together they take about 1 GB of memory.
Since you have 4 GBs of RAM, the game engine requires about 1-2 GB on Android and the scene is using another 1 GB, your device is probably already using 2 GB or about there, so the preload anims is not beneficial for your case as your device does not have enough memory for everything at once, and the game is force closed for using too much memory.
This is my theory however, please try it out and let me know if it works out.

I got two bugs in the latest version of the game
1. If Leanh has her breasts out and starts a confrontation with "Wharf Roach G." Or you try to seduce him the game crashes. I imagine that a conflict is generated because there is only one scene with the wharf roach g
2.If Leah inspects the forest in the last action of the day finds a Bugshroom the game freezes as it starts a battle but the scenario comes out at night.
I don't know if these bugs are in the other versions.

I have the same issue here with the Banana tree animation, it causes not only the game but also my device to crash. When i open up the game again and went to load my save file it got reseted way back almost to the beginning of the game. It affected all the save file in my case. My phone has 8gb of ram and decent processor. I still can't believe that this game manage to crash my phone that bad making the System UI to completely stopped.
Also i think you should provide some save file just in case people ran into the same problem as mine, it's annoying to grind and lost all the progress just because of a bug.
That is bad crashing indeed, the game crashing for OOM is “normal”, in the sense that it can happen in lower end devices as scenes consume some memory (Banana Bug specially), however it shouldn’t happen with +8GB of RAM.
What can you tell me of the conditions before the crash? For example, did you notice the game getting slower? Were you playing for some time already? Does it always crash the game in the scene, and if so, is it always in the same point in time?
Additionally, are you using the “Preload Anims” settings as well?
So the bug occurred when i just unlock the banana tree and interact with it the first time, my screen went blank and it triggers an external error from my device System UI telling me that the game ran into some problem which is never happened on any apps i ever install on my phone. There's 2 option 1.Ignore/Wait 2.Close (i forgot exactly what the pop up show) either way that pop up only appear for less than 2 second and then my phone crashed. I've been playing for a while at that moment but the game runs fine, not slowing down nor hiccups. The "Preload Anims" was tuned ON when the crash happened but i got a save file from someone (basically at the end game) and i tried to recreate the crash but it didn't crash, I've tried all the 3 scenes it chugs a bit at the beginning of the scenes but the scenes play normally with the "Preload Anims" still ON. Switching it off just make it load faster somehow. Maybe i should tried to recreate the bug with a new save but I don't really have the time for that.
Ps: just in case you're wondering, my device was Poco F5 it runs on Hyper OS 2.0 on Android 15
