What do you think of works with anime IP elements?

I am currently trying to make a game with anime IP.

There is no plan to charge for the time being, but there may be later, depending on the content of the game.

I think there will be a large overlap between users who like some anime and users who like role-playing games, which will be more conducive to the promotion of the game.

Games with animation elements will attract me more to play the game, but whether I will continue to play for a long time may depend on the quality of the game itself.

Your own IP or someone else's... ;-)

You might want to use the phrasing: games with anime style, if that is what you meant. If you say IP, people will think you will use re-used existing IP. Such as fan games.

So true! I was confused that much - what ip, i even started to google ...

Brother, anime style is always very good, but the idea is more important that style! If you have a good idea, you even can use everything you want!

There are even vastly different styles that all would qualify for being anime. Ghibli is a lot different from Crayon Shin-Chan and both look different from other styles.

I think they mostly have in common, that the characters do not look realistically like in old Marvel/DC comics. Plus, the eyes are usually bigger.

But you should choose what style you want, if the idea is good - it will be the perfect game! Idea + your favourable style
