Welcome, this is something I worked on for some time and published last year of August. Updated it with more torches 19 some days ago, this is one of my projects that gets the most views and downloads weekly but I have yet to recieve any sort of comment/feedback on it. So I'm hoping this post can shed some much needed light on my project that I've been looking for. Thanks for reading! :)  https://asymmetric.itch.io/mideval-2d-16x16-torch-sprite-pack-with-animations

Hey I checked this out and wanted to let you know I like the way these look! :) If I was working on any projects that needed these, I'd certainly use 'em. I'm not a big fan of some of the goblets, but it is cool that you included them. Anyway, I can see why this gets so many views and downloads, that should tell you that you made a great product! Hope this is the kind of thing you were looking for feedback wise, even though I didn't offer a ton. Just thought you should know these are cool.

Hey thanks for your little review, I really do appreciate it! But what was the thing you didn't like about the Goblets exactly? So I can  take notes for the future

No problem. Haha, I guess I should have mentioned that, sorry was a bit late last night when I took a look. Anyway, the green fire goblet just puts me off, I know it is a recolor of the red fire goblet, but something about those colors interacting with me just doesn't sit well. Literally a personal preference there, I could be totally alone on that. However, the purple fire one I don't like because the shape is so different. It feels too block-y and would be something I'd have a harder time fitting in aesthetically.

That's really it though, I think that overall these are fantastic so please don't take these comments too personally because your work is great! Hope that this helped some and I also am wishing you the best with this. Keep up the good work, man!

Don't panic about the initial lack of reviews. I've been dealing with the same thing on my asset collections.

Just keep promoting your asset pack and continue selling... and keep in mind that in general, on most big marketplaces (from Amazon to Steam) usually only 2-5% of customers will rate a thing they bought.

That can be extremely frustrating when you know you have something amazing that's being ignored. But it's reality.

Focus on getting people to look at your work, landing buyers, and impressing those buyers with the quality and value of your product. People who have strong emotional reactions (positive or negative) to your product are most likely to take a moment to review it.

And some people are just inherently more likely to post reviews than others, for whatever reason. Habit, I suppose.

There are venues like eBay where ratings are more standard, and a large percentage of people will leave them. But most marketplaces aren't like that. Itch doesn't seem to be. So don't be surprised if it takes 20, 30, even 50 sales before someone posts a review.
