I’m new to game jams, but are you not able to leave after the jam is ended? If not, that does seem frustrating, yeah. The immediate issue I can see with being automatically removed, though, is that it would auto-remove any team members who didn’t submit the team’s project — and based on my (admittedly limited) understanding, I think only one person can submit a project per team? So such a feature could only work for game jams that don’t allow teams, or something.
