Unable to download paid version of app

Hey,

I was manually downloading a ~450 mb app I had just purchased through itch.io and I kept getting "network error" and the download was canceled.  So I installed the itch app and logged in.

I had purchased the newest version of a game, "Monster Girl Garden" for enough to be qualified to get the latest, MGGv20x64.  However, going through this app, clicking install, the only version I am offered is the free version, MGGv19x64.

Is there any reason I'm not able to get the app I paid for?  Could it be a delay in your billing system?

Thanks!

It's possible the new, paid version isn't correctly marked as an executable for your operating system, and/or packaged in a format the app can handle. Maybe ask the game's creator to double-check, just in case?

Hello,

It looks like the  developer did not tag the file the uploaded correctly for windows. I've updated the page and you should be able to download it through the app now.

Regarding the "network error" message you saw, how many times did you try? Did the download consistently stop at the same place or did it randomly stop?

Thanks

Thanks Leafo.  I now see the game has an "update" which is said to be the v20.

The network error was random.  Sometimes I got about 300 MB into a download, other times less.

I had seen similar behaviors in the past for games on sites where there's no download manager app available.  Here, there is one, which fixed my issue.

Thanks again!
