Trying to give answers to questions I see coming up every now and again.

When is the next update?

The new version 1.1 just released on the 29th of June: See the "Available Now!" post over on Patreon:

This update includes bugfixes, adjustments to interactions as well as new content for Emily as well as Linda.
You don't need to pay for this new version again if you've purchased the game after it's v1.0 release.
If you haven't purchased the game yet but are at least a $ 5+ supporter on Patreon, you will receive a download code. (However, it seems you need to link your Patreon and itch accounts for that.)
There are plans for an "Epilogue" update later this year.

I'm stuck and can't progress Linda's story

The most common cause is Linda's outfit. She needs to be in her regular clothes (black & teal) for her story to progress. You might also want to take a look at this gameplay guide:

Is there a Mac release and/or will there ever be?

I can't speak for the developer, but there is no Mac release for the game's current version and looking at other games made by this creator, I doubt there will be one. I suppose Mac users need to run this game inside an emulator.

How do I transfer saves to a new version?

I can't see my mouse cursor. What do I do?

You can restart the game by pressing F5. Do this until you can see your mouse cursor again.

Is there full screen mode?

You can press F4 to make the game fullscreen. Keep in mind that the artwork is in 720p and will be upscaled to your screen.

Will there be translations?

Unfortunately there are no plans for translations of the game.

Will the game be available on Steam?

The game's creator has stated on twitter that they plan on looking into it later this year.

but other than that it's amazing awesome game I was with you when this game first started out and us who been with you in the beginning miss the old graphics I still have game to earlier version but it's just painful not seeing Rachel and Leslie the way before I do like Leslie new looks and her eye change but can there be a option in the later future to have the original graphics even if it's just to see them in there original outfit Ms with that look I understand if not able to add them in the newer outfits I just would like to have option to play in there old outfits before the new updated characters came in but if not it's ok it's just really sad 😢 how the original Leslie and Rachel got scrapped they were legendary

I apologize for my replys I'm just a big fan of your work siren I have a troubled past and these games heal when I play and read the story I just want to say you are awesome and please never leave us your rpg games and visual novel games are unique and very fun I just hope that mc and the others don't end I love reading epilogue it makes the game still feel alive and thriving and I do enjoy when you do add them especially in zombie retreat 1

it would be great to see another visual novel game like this house of chores will always be number one right alongside my number 1 rpg game zombie retreat oh and a zombie life I can't give zombie life number 2 so I will say I enjoy your game and nergal your both number 1 rpg games on my list I couldn't rank you or him number 2 y'all both are great and awesome

Hello There Siren I have been enjoying your games I find them really fantasizing to me. I'm here to ask you if you consider bringing your games to gog? To keep them preserved and drm free because think of the games that probably you played and nowadays maybe you just can't in this digital age and if you do bring your game to gog those games can be preserved! Think about it I myself have already voted on your games already on the gog dreamlist if you have the time to respond and think about this post I wrote. Thank you

Everything from v1.0 on is paid only content. You need to purchase the game once. After that you will receive any further updates for free.

Can I just unpack the game and cut and paste its entire contents into the original folder when the new version comes out, and keep my progress?

If not, it's fine. Thankfully there's a speedup option that skips literally everything back to where I was at before.

But also, it would be nice if there was an option in the settings to toggle what the skip function actually skips. With seen vs unseen/all text. As sometimes I accidentally push the skip button and have to reload my save to see what I missed...
