[UE/Hobby/Horror] Any Harry Potter fans here?

I'm creating a Harry Potter horror game for fun (with a Backrooms influence). Looking for other artists, writers, designers, programmers (using UE blueprints), whatever roles to team up and add more levels. This isn't for a game jam specifically, just a hobby project to experiment with things to use on other games. I'm mostly a programmer and artist, but can cover other roles too.

Hope you don't get copyright striked. Good luck though! Send me updates! Can't hurt playing another horror game.

There's already a load of HP fan games out there (about 60 on this site alone). They don't seem to care as long as you're not making money off them (which I won't - this is just for fun/learning and won't be sold anywhere). And JKR has said that she's cool with fan works IF they are clearly marked that way and not commercialised.

Still working on this and looking for people to team up with (especially writers/designers).

Damaged castle corridors (I still need to add more rubble, the paintings and a few other things).

Room of Requirement a week (ish) after getting firebombed.

Wow! That looks absolutely amazing.

Aww thanks! The premise is that after a break you returned to help clean/fix the castle, and the magic in the Room of Requirement is broken due to all the damage. So you end up in some twisted place that builds itself off your memories and then other people you meet who are also trapped down there. So it's like the Backrooms/liminal-space games (Liminalcore, Pools, etc), but set in the HP world rather than a modern one.

I'm still working out the last few 'levels' and where/who you meet at what point. Hermione is the main POV character, so to begin with it's a bunch of her memories and she spends the first part of the game walking around alone. Then you see dark/twisted versions of the school and other places she knows and find evidence left behind by one or more other survivors, who you eventually catch up to and can decide to team up with.

As with other backroom style games, chairs behave really strangely and won't always stay in the same place.

Dollhouse room from one of Hermione's memories. I haven't decided what else to add in here yet, but you escape via the back of the wooden house via a long tunnel.
