ID for heading in Markdown

Hello, can I set up an id attribute for h2 tag in my post written using Markdown? I’ve tried using HTML directly to no avail. I mean, even the autogenerated IDs would do just fine.

At this moment we don’t allow setting the id attribute on user provided HTML/Markdown to prevent interfering with site functionality.

If you’re referring to the ones that look like id="community_edit_post_3993740", note that the number will change every time the page is rendered.

For project pages, we do provide some default anchors to help linking to common parts of the page.

All right, could those be somehow fixed? It’d be really nice to be able to link to specific parts of the post, since I’m using itch.io posts functionality to publish gamedev-related longreads.
