Developers who are not selling anything do not have a requirement to make a public contact method available on their page. If they have comments open, you can leave a comment, and if they wish to respond, they will. You can also try looking up their profile to see if they have any other contact methods available or social media accounts.

If you have purchased something and need help with that product, you can contact Itch.io support, and they can forward your request to the developer. However, we generally respect the privacy of developers and will not forward non-critical requests unless absolutely necessary.

this is the second case. I bought 2 games from the same author and in both of them i can't get pass the first screen

and they don't give any way of contacting them (as far as i see), and they not answering my comment from 10 days ago

so how do I proceed? (how do i contact Itch.io support)

In the footer of every single page: https://itch.io/support

Someone has to be the first to comment. But try the support page.

this is a very old game, so I doubt my comment will be noticed, but i posted one anyway..

the support page lets me contact itch and i rather contact the developer directly

Some creators list a support e-mail. When that happens, they show up on your support page and you can contact them that way. If that's not the case, a comment is your best bet. Even if the creator doesn't see it, there are other people who play the game. Failing that, see if the creator has social media links or something. Hope this helps.
