Two facto authorization messing up my log in

Sometimes by chance I’ll get logged out (naturally) and then when I try to log in again the Two Factor stuff will come up. Okay, send it to my email. Nope, no new message. (Actually no new itch messages for my yahoo mail, and yes I checked).

Okay, turn off Two facto authorization. Wait, it’s “not enabled” in settings!? Then why does it say it is,

The only way I even logged in again now was by going to incognito(?? Idk why tho). Please fix or help me disable.

Literally, sending a code to the email would be a 2FA, but in Itch, the only 2FA method is through TOTP.

The code to the email is an additional measure that Itch uses if your account does not have 2FA configured, so it cannot be deactivated or activated.

If the email has not arrived, it may be for 2 reasons.

You blocked Itch emails and that is why they cannot reach you (Try checking the spam folder).

The email configured in your Itch account may not be the one you think (a person recently had the same problem and it was because they had written the email incorrectly).

In any of these cases, it is best to contact support directly, since this forum is answered by the community and except for the admin, no one has access to change the configuration of your account.
