Hi! A few months ago I requested by email that CSS be enabled in my account.

After that I received an email with an answer from itch.io support.

The email said that CSS had been enabled in my account and that the "style editor" was now available.

But when I tried to look for the style editor button it just wasn't in the project editor.

And if it's not there, where is it?

It was a bit disappointing because in the end I had to publish my first game page on itch.io without custom css.

So my question is how do I enable custom css in my itch.io account?

It's in the theme editor, same as all the usual options for customizing the game page.

yes i know but .. where is the theme editor?

...On the game page. There's a button right in the middle of the top menu.

here is my screenshot. maybe the website detect i'm on mobile and disallows some functions automatically? 🤔

...Not there. I said on your game page. When you're looking at the game page. Not in the dashboard.

First, do not use a mobile device to develop, you will encounter these types of errors. If you still decide to use it, keep in mind that many problems will be on your side and it will be difficult for others to help you.

With your game page open, Tap on the 3 vertical dots for the menu and enable "Desktop site".

Now you should see a button says "Edit theme" between "Widget" and "Published", click on it, and in the window that will open, on the left side, at the bottom you should have the CSS.

my screenshot was with desktop site mode enable and Windows (Chrome) user agent override, but seems like itch.io does not show the theme editor button in low dpi devices (like android phones)

my solution was changing dpi in android development settings and reloading the page.

as expected the theme editor button was there again and it was not necessary to change to desktop mode.

thank you for your help.

it was ver useful.
