Can I Allow Players to Play My Game Without Downloading It?

Original title: download

So when someone downloads my game they receive the game to play on their computer?  Can I have it so they can just play the game without giving them the game?

You might be talking about browser games.

So I'm not a computer programmer.I made a twine game, an adventure text game. Would that be what you call a browser game?

A browser game is when you play the game in the browser/tab.

How are they supposed to play without having the game? Even in the browser, they must be able to load all of it.

There is no streaming play service on itch.

Either you make a web game without download option or you make your download options cost money. Then you can have demo versions for free. And if you have pay what you want option, downloads that paid 0 will not be able to "claim" your game, should you increase the price later.
