Where all team members will brainstorm on what game we will be creating.
Maybe it could be a bunker that the player lives in. So the player has been living there for years, but then they hear something happen on the outside (like an explosion or something), and after a while the knocking starts.
I had this idea for a game once where the main character lives inside a mix between a tank and a bunker. Then a nuke explodes. The souls of those that died then try to kill the player, the only survivor of the explosion, whom all the ghost are jealous of. I never finished this game though.
That's a good question. I hadn't thought of that. I think if we have time later, we could make the player descend down and go from one area to another.
But I think we should start with a vibrant dungeon. Like a dungeon that is being lived in. With wooden rafters and stuff.
The next area could be a darker abandoned dungeon.
And maybe a demonic layer for the third level?
Also perhaps hidden bonus areas could be made of caves?
I am suggesting some Monty Hall element in the game.
A classic Monty Hall game is when a player is confronted with three doors: Two doors hide nothing the third hides a prize. After choosing a door Monty opens ones of the doors that contains nothing and asks the player if he wants to switch. The math says it is better to switch.
There can be different twists:
1. More players. Or more doors. Or more Montys.
2. Monty tree: Doors lead to more Monty Hall games. Monty loops: Doors lead back to previous games.
3. Monty cheats and moves the prize (so you always lose, or always win)... Only way forward is to kill Monty...
