Very nice game, the ambient and the mistery are nice, i really liked how everything is chill, i felt like sherlock connecting the clues.

I thought the songs were very original, and when you said you weren't very good at making songs and I heard the melodies, I thought they were really cool, and I decided to start making them too!!

Hmmm, idea:


In the beggining of the game just show an text box saying something like "take what is yours" and then we can do the plot of the character taking part of their soul that are with the bosses

How much time do we have? maybe i could do some cutscene or something

I think we managed to fit both into the story, for example: he died in the dungeon and now he relives the moment several times in different ways

The purgatory idea was my first vision of the thing when creating the designs!

I think that maybe in the beggining of the game could be an text explaining the context, like, the character is a zombie in a kind of dungeon and have to go trough the doors

Ok, it's an interesting concept, but i have some things to point:


AI GENERATED IMAGES, it's not a problem, at least not to me, but you could make your game one hundred percent more authentic using simple handmade 16x16 sprites.


well, besides that , it's all kinda confusing, but the procrastination monster is a good idea.

muy perturbador, me trajo algunos malos recuerdos, y de alguna manera logré verme en el personaje, mi primer final fue 2, realmente no quería que Kam siguiera haciéndose cosas malas, y sabía que era simplemente los pensamientos intrusivos hablaban más fuerte, entonces, para intentar tener otros finales, la dejé hacer todas las malas acciones, excepto cortarse, y obtuve el final 1, que para mí fue el que más me alivió, y luego, intenté encontrar el último. Primero, me molestó un poco hacerlo, pasar por toda la tortura varias veces, de todos modos, felicidades por el juego, después de todo, retrata una realidad y no intenta romantizarla como lo hacen tantos otros juegos de este tipo.

So, i tried a coupe more things, and i think this is a cool vibe for the first dungeon, i'il keep the next tiles in this style if its ok :D

I managed to mock up this, clearly need some polish, so, i will try in another style,

Hello!

So, my goal in this gameplay this time was: to beat my previous record, find all the monsters, and also test all the mechanics in just one gameplay.

The game lasted about an hour until I achieved all the objectives and my verdict is that it improved a lot, the more fluid movement really helps when dodging projectiles, however, I missed using the emergency blow, as the movement improved quite a few, there were few moments when I really NEEDED to use the emergency blow, but I believe this is something that can be worked around;

moving on to the monsters, I think my biggest fun was looking for the blue chopper, I think half an hour of my gameplay was trying to find it, and then, when I managed to do that, it was surprisingly very rewarding. adding new rare monsters to be found  can be cool!

One thing about the battle gameplay against monsters is that their movements are very predictable, if new monsters are added (or if you prefer to continue with the new ones)

each one could have a different movement pattern, leaving the generic only for the red scratcher.

Other than that, very good game, I had a lot of fun, and I hope to continue seeing updates, thank you!

Walk cycle finished, i started to work in the tilesets, what do you think of that style? like grass and wood, but, as it is the fist level still with vibrant colors
