Have you ever played "Android KitKat challange"? That game was GREAT, So I'm remaking it

(note this is not a self promote)

I would be careful about remaking games. Even if the game is no longer available to be played, it could still be copyrighted and there's a chance you'd get in legal trouble if it looks too much like the original

Interesting question. How much can one "remake" to not get into trouble. Obviously, naming it a remake and looking alike might be a bad idea. Remake implies that you hold the rights, as in, you made the original. It is less about copyright and more about trademarks and protection of the right holders interests. If there is confusion possible and you are damaging the market of the thing you "remake", those are clear indications that you should not do it.  But law about all of this is an abomination, especially patents.

I might use words like homage or the phrase making my own version of kitty kat advertisement.

And no, never heard of the gamepromotion.

Original Game is lost. But there are 2 probabilities:

It's either a indie developer as its archived over and over to most apk archives from same username

or It's Nestle itself as there are so many links to Nestle's Android KitKat animations.

I think its nestle :(
