ALL the games are back!

A few months ago, every single game I have ever uploaded to this site got deleted because someone got into my account. I worked with the Itch team and am very grateful for them getting my games back up. However, about half the most recent games were the ones put back up. The other, older half were still gone.

I had written off reuploading all of them myself for a long time because I was overwhelmed by the time it would take to remake every page, reupload every file, etc. But today was the DAY! I decided to undertake the huge task and reupload all the games with the help of the Wayback Machine to remember what each page looked like. In total, it took about an hour to get all 15+ games back up and close to their original state (Sorry Itch team for the MASSIVE influx of those games :) ).

Now some people might be wondering: "Why reupload all your early games, they were bad and amateurish anyways!" That is the exact reason. When I made those games, I had just started game development. Over the past 3 years now, I have grown greatly as a developer. I want a new developer to be able to see my most recent game with a ton of polish, check out my other games, and realize I used to be at the point they are at now. I want those early games to serve as inspiration for them to keep working. To embrace making stinky little games because they will help you grow. You can't get anywhere as a developer (or anything in life) if you don't take the first step.

Finally, I would like to look back at the time when all those games got deleted. While at the time I was pretty upset, I can look back at that positively. It showed me that I had a community when, at the time, I thought I had none. That was around the time I had uploaded my game "Late Night TV" which had EXPLODED. Whenever I reuploaded that game, it had almost immediately returned to the popular point it had been at before. It really made me appreciate the 100-200 people I've got consistently checking out my games when I upload them. 100-200 may seem small to some, but I see now that is nothing to scoff at. I'm very grateful for anyone who plays my games. Each and every one of you.

Thank you.

(If this belongs in the "Release Announcements" board because I'm talking about uploading my games, please tell me and I will fix it!)

Good job !
