Is it allowed to place a direct link for donations on my game page for free?

Can I add links to ko-fi or paypal donations on my html5 game page?

sorry my english, not my main language

I guess, but why not enable payments instead. That way you support itch.io too.

yes, I would like to help itch too, but it seems that it only encourages the donation for those who are going to download a free file or game, for those who only have a game in the browser I don't see it being very incentive

If people don't click the "support this game" button, why would they click a link to Ko-fi?

because my game page dont show "support this game" button, instead show "download" , my game is a browser game but have windows version too, but mostly people is playing on browser

maybe i should only keep the windows version?

Maybe you should give them reasons to download the Windows version, and support you while at it.

Look at these examples.
