XCode not starting automatically after installing GMlive

Hi,

this happened on two different Macs. After installing homebrew and Neko VM XCode won't launch automatically when performing a new iOS build in Gamemaker. It's not a super big deal because you can open it manually and load your project, but it made me curious.

Do you have an idea what could cause this? Gamemaker Output doesn't show any error, just Success.

First time I hear of this one, but also my Mac mini is out of order and I’ve not done anything Mac-related in maybe two years now

Hi

I am also using a Mac and after installing

Homebrew and Neko

Xcode is no longer auto-starting when building.

Have you resumed support for Mac OS?

Have you made any progress on a proposed solution to this problem?

Sorry if the text is difficult to understand due to machine translation.

Thank you in advance!

The issue seems to only happen for some people, I can only assume that this has something to do with brew install updating other packages in process.

If you can reliably reproduce this (as this has something to do with brew install rather than GMLive), you could perhaps file a GameMaker bug about it.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

You are right, it seems that GMLive is not having a direct negative impact on me when I think about it, so it was wrong to ask here

.

I will file a bug report with yoyogames.

Thank you very much.

I just discovered this as well. I am running GMS on a Mac and my iPad builds have been launching automatically for weeks. Just installed homebrew for the first time and my builds are still successful, but auto-launching is not happening anymore. Curious if you found a solution
