Follow ups on Reports?

Hi, I tried googling around and looking at the topics here, but couldnt find anything. I'm just wondering if the support team follows up on reports you make?

In my case, I reported a game that was uploaded without permission on Sunday, and it looks like the game was taken down today, along with the user who posted it, so all in all everything is as it should be.

But neither me, nor the original game dev, have heard anything from support after the report, even like a simple "Hi, thanks for the report, we have removed it now", so I'm just wondering if thats something they do? I dont want to pester the admins by firing another email their way for simply being curious about the status of things either.

We typically do not follow up with the report creator unless additional information is required, which is quite rare. Although we greatly appreciate your report submission, our staff must consider numerous factors when reviewing a report. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, we cannot send thank you messages to everyone who submits a report.

If you urgently need a status update on a report, you can submit a support message. Please include the report ID you received in the receipt. Alternatively, you can reply to the report’s email receipt message, which will be forwarded to our support team.

Please note that account reviews are generally a conversation between the page owner and our staff only, unless you have an IP claim concerning the page. Therefore, even if you have submitted a report, we typically will not share any private details about the other account.

Hope that helps

No, far as I know support resolves things quietly and moves on, as you witnessed, unless more information is needed.

Alright, good to know
