Platform Exclusivity Debunked essentially.

So, when I speak of there being more games made for the chromebook format, not only does it invite even if obscure, more mainstays and testers, players, etc. (All unpaid when the industry has literal jobs for it) of donating time to simply play, which is it's own work and gives you all a platform, it's a sign.

A sign personally that game preservation is also another aspect that is cancelled and ignored when you deny platform availilabilty even on outdated or less popular platforms, Imagine you like a devs work, even if one, two, three, whatever amount of projects you all have that you enjoy, assume they retire, pass away, or even struggle to find a proper platform due to lessened exposure and represenation (Dev "dream" killing in it's own right), sometimes it's a mutual issue that bleeds out and affects even the players in some aspect. How does less representation and locked in laser focus to platforms like PC and console, that usually get rid of games like no ones business and always chases whats current, how can some of these games have a chance at being altered or enhanced on a future date by someone else if another can't? how the credit and other aspects is handled is on the individuals at question, but it usually never happens between devs exclusively or by platforms that "localize" and meatride specific industry platforms. What if all these abandonware games I wanted to preserve say... on a chromebook, or an android to keep for some later modification, expansion, spin off, etc. or proof of a games existence? what if I could no longer by circumstance or otherwise, if at all, contact original devs to obtain their materials?

Theres a larger issue and loophole being created that is the MOST disrespectful of every developer in existence by my wishes for more expansion on lesser platforms to be ignored. I'd like to see it.

Read this as perfect evidential support that platforms like chromebook and android (known to hold files people tend not to delete out of simple laziness or convenience, would be a major plus to you developers if you lose a games files or what not.)

You're talking to developers and not about itch.io, right?
