Hi, I want to start a small game development project. I plan for it to be a short project with development lasting around 2-3 months. I do have some vague ideas which I cannot discuss here, I am afraid. But, I cannot do it alone. I need someone to discuss these ideas with, and contribute their own ideas; so that we can have a good foundation to make a successful game.
I am mainly interested in horror, fantasy or science fiction genres; it would be highly preferable to have similar interests. As for the game type, I want to make a 3D game, but I am also interested in interactive visual novels; overall I haven't decided the game type, but I am flexible about it.
I will be the project manager and lead developer for this game project. Once a concrete idea is established, we will start recruiting team members to fill in each and every role. Also, all roles in this project will be completely volunteer, unless it changes in future. This is because, I have not decided on how to pay people yet, but if the game is decently successful, I can consider making the game paid and pay people for their contribution.
I'm looking for someone who:
- has skillset that will be useful for contributing to the development of the game project
- is interested in horror, fantasy or science fiction genres (the game will be likely a mix of few of these genres)
- (preferably) has contributed significantly to a successful game project before
