Trying to get our next game translated into different languages is something we're working really hard on (and we do have Chinese now!). The problem for indie devs is usually budget- getting a pro localisation job is massively expensive so often it depends on volunteers willing to work for experience, the love, or a token payment, and the results can be mixed.

The itchio Help Wanted forum is a good start for devs but there hasn't been a Chinese translator on there for a long time.

Who knows though, maybe with this and the Chinese, Come Over Here(!) forum thread, we might see more Chinese people on this site. I'd certainly love itchio and our games to have more attention from the east.
