Pixel art car... How many directions are needed?

I created a 16 directions pixel art car, a lot of times, for racing games, clients ask me to create a precise rotation of the car to create a nice driving game with smooth controls.

Do you think are enough directions to be displayed for a smooth racing game?

-Would you like to see other cars on the collection? Wich ones?

I think 16 directions is plenty; character walking animations usually only have eight. I will note that the shadows should probably shift around to stay consistently on one side of the vehicle, though, or they will appear to jump around when the car is spinning. Overall, this is great!

Yes character 8 directions are good... But for a big asset like a car, I feel more directions are needed for a smooth rotation while driving.

Look into sprite stacking.
