I just created an itch.io account. I bought dwarf fortress. They charge me $29.99 but the stripe transaction said "failed".

I paid. But no game.

Has anyone else experienced this?

If a charge was not able to complete during the validation phase then you may see a temporary charge on your statement known as “pre-authorization” charge. If you do not receive an email for the product then the amount will automatically be returned to you generally within the next day. You can have customer support verify the status of your purchase if needed.
