Hello I was wondering if I will be notified if games in my collection are updated or if I have to manually check for updates.

At the moment, the best way to be notified is to follow the developer. But we're making some changes to allow you easily see updates to games in your collections. When you follow a developer then their new posts will appear in your feed.
