Players will lose interest from generic or low quality music!!

Today professional composers can freely share their work with indie devs who know the value music brings to the player experience!

Open World Astmospheres: Cloud Piano is a collection of 15 Tracks that will keep player’s focused on your game!

Normally $39.99 , buy now for just $9.99

Or check out our Open World Bundle of 160 Original Tracks for just $19.99, ($400 retail value)

Thank You and Enjoy!

"Generic Music is a Silent Killer of Games!"

Do you have a link to the research?

I couldn't agree more! Yeah man share any research that people may have done on this! Thanks!

How did you draw your conclusion?

to why generic music isn't as effective as high quality/original music?

Yes.

Read Winnifred Phillip's textbook on game music! Thanks for the support android love, hope this helps your game!

I'm not finding her critique of generic music.  Are you implying that because she writes custom music in tandem with developers, she naturally considers her way better? I'm interested in seeing the research results against using music that isn't custom.

It's an incredible read man! I hope you enjoy, did you buy the book!? Read sections on immersion etc. Pretty standard concept in game music writing :)

I've done some stuff I consider immersive with found film footage. I'm just wondering if seeking out a composer to work with is just an option and not a mandate.

The nuances of game music are as deep as the art, story, game mechanics....there are layers for sure in terms of the needs for a AAA title vs. small indie project....to then a game jam in 2 days. I'd strongly suggest reading that textbook if you're curious about the role music plays in ways we never considered initially :) shoot me an email joe@past2presentaudio.com if you ever want to chat further as well !
