Game Jam submision files are gone

We uploaded our build before the end of the jam and it was working fine,  but for some reason if we check right now the files that we uploaded have disappeared. This means that our game can't be downloaded anymore. We are afraid that this means our work has been done for nothing. Is it possible to do something about it ? We saw in a 2 year old topic that an admin can reupload our files if they are the exact same files as the originals. This is the link to our project https://higum.itch.io/symergy and a WeTransfer link to our original build https://we.tl/t-hEFiJl3Hnl

Thank you very much.

Our logs show that the owner of the page deleted the files. There’s nothing we can do about restoring them, they are permanently deleted.

Because of the jam’s settings, new uploads are locked. (The lock does not prevent you from deleting files though).

If you want to re-submit you can remove your game from the jam, upload the files, and ask the jam host for a late submit link. Note that you will want to check with the host first if they will even allow this per the rules of their jam.

The fact is that actually no one of the team has done this delete file... We saw from other thread than you were able to reset the build link if you have the original one... Can't we just send you the original?

Because currently that's a really stressful situation about losing 12h mini * 7 days of hard work and lack of sleep... There is absolutly no reason for deleting this file currently... I guess that you're able to see the submitted files with hour and date...

Why don't you help us?

There is absolutely no sense....

You’ll have to follow the steps I outlined in my post. You will have to contact the jam host to see about late submitting.

Hey there,

Did you set the downloads to be links to an external site? If so, could you try to upload the files themselves on the project instead? If the size is too big, you can try using butler which doubles the size limit.

I’ll mention this to the admins as well in case it helps at all.

Thank you for your reply, but the files were uploaded on the itch.io page directly without using an external link and we can't upload files on the project anymore.

So, is that possible for you to do it as told in this thread ? https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/topic/692260/read-this-if-you-accidentally-delete...

Unfortunately I can’t do anything like that.

You can contact support as well to get more details, alternatively you’d have to wait in case an admin can respond on this thread.

Thank you very much for your answer. We already contact the support and we are waiting for an answer, but the wait is quite terrifying. Is that possible to tag an admin ?

Thank you for your help
