Restrict devlog/community access to paid users?

I am about to write a crowd-funded book.

Pre-launch I have been working with this project on itch as restricted access: community is visible to all users (for Q&A and sample content) and devlog is only visible to paid owners (the book content they’re paying for).

Are there any settings that make this possible for a public project? I’d like to put either devlog or community behind the “pay wall”.

(Plan B would be to attach the work-in-progress book to the project as a PDF or somethong, and update that instead, but this is less than ideal.)

I think this is a great idea but it’s not something we provide just yet.

OK thanks. I’ll probably move the writing to GitHub send just use itch for payment and community.

I’ve added the issue to GitHub.
