Would love to build some integrations for developers with external tools to automate devlog creation

Currently it seems the public API has no endpoints for devlogs, if it were to be added I’d be very grateful 🙏🙏

Can you share more about what you are trying to build? Generally we don’t provide APIs for people to post things since it may contribute to spam that we have to moderate.

Yeah good point, the use case I have in mind was to publish a draft devlog based on commit messages or trello cards in an automated manner

I also think this would be a useful feature.  The main use case for me would be automated devlog replication over multiple platforms.  I want to be able to write my devlog message once and have it automatically appear on itch.io, gamedev.net, Steam, my personal blog, etc..

For what it’s worth I think limiting these APIs just drafts would be fine for lots of use cases, a little bit of friction (clicking “publish” manually) would hopefully prevent a large portion of spam
