Importing Strive for Power Characters

I would like to import the Strive for Power characters into my Strive for Conquest game but I can't seem to find the image files. I found some import files in the files/images folder and I found STEX files in the .images folder.  I can't open either of them. Can anyone help?

There's an error in the event at the elven capital when they try to force their way through into the temple or someplace, the battle  doesn't start, like it can't find the assets for the enemy characters. Also, i happened to notice a typo in the log, it says "elven sodlier" instead of "elven soldier"

By characters do you mean portraits? The SfP portrait packs work. The portrait packs are not stored in the game folder, they are stored in the same folder as save files. You can find portrait packs to download on the SfP itch page. If you mean the actual characters from your SfP game, you can't import them, the games are too different. It is possible to recreate characters during  character creation, but the won't be exactly the same. Cali from SfP is now in Conquest, but she is not quite the same character and has a different image as the character art has changed.

Thank you ambergrain. I have some of the mod portrait packs, but I was looking for the portraits of the SfC NPCs like Cali and Chole.

Well, as I said Cali is currently in Conquest as a recruitable NPC. Her character art is slightly different, but recognizable. No real story yet, but you can recruit her very early. Chole may wind up in Conquest as since Mav seems inclined to port popular NPCs from SfP.

All of the art assets in both Conquest and SfP are stored in the import format. It may be part of image management for the Godot engine.

This may be late but may help those who view and wish for the same thing.

If you wish to import the portrait/body images of Strive for Power's characters, you may use the STEX files of the character body and portrait instead of a png file. Simply locate the desired character's STEX file and place it to the appropriate location.

=Directions=
1.) Go to the .import folder of Strive for Power's directory and search for your desired character via manual search or search bar (example: "Emily")
2.) Select the desired variant of body portrait of the character (example: "emily2happy.png" followed by numbers/letters) and select the desired character's portrait (example: "emilyportrait.png" followed by numbers/letters)
3) Move these files to the appropriate custom body and portrait folders for your Strive: Conquest game (typically in your appdata/roaming in a file under the game's name)
4.) After creating the desired character via cheats or save editing, you may now select the imported portraits and body via the customization tab of the character.

Additional Information: The images may not be in the same dimensions as normally used by the game and are off a little.
