Help Me, need help with submitted html5 file

I made the game in Construct 3. My html5 file size is 776 MB and the site reads 1 Gig is the limit, but when I view the project it says the limit is 554MB and that I should delete my file and add another one. How can I get more space or what is the bug that could be causing my html 5 game not the upload on the site.

It's not a bug, HTML games have different limits.

Is there a program to decrease the file size even more? I would have to remove a lot of content to shrink it down to 500Mb. How can I make it a download

There's no magical program that can make your game have fewer files. You have to optimize it. And to make it a download, simply don't tick the checkbox that says "this file will be played in the browser".

Thanks. That's cool so I assume I select "Download" instead?

There's no such checkbox, all files are downloads by default.

There is a selection box btw it's just the first one, but I don't see how someone can play the game by downloading the same zip file that I submit on here

I don't understand the question. You mean how can someone play a web game after downloading it locally? By opening it in the browser. And you can have downloads for an HTML game too. You can have a smaller demo playable online for example.

NOT trying to have fewer files that's not my question. My question was trying to find a way to optimize the png files. I tried to shrink the PNG's and re-zip the files back, it did work with PNG Gauntlet, but the game won't play. Pretty obvious to manually shrink the PNG files, but I  was hoping to find a better short cut

Ah. In my experience, tools like optipng don't optimize much at all. Tools that save PNG are pretty smart nowadays and compress the files well from the start.
