Having figured out how to improve render times, Akane is finished ahead of schedule... sort of. In the last few days I discovered how to use an add on utility that helps with clothes simulation. For the uninitiated,, in Daz, simulation means subjecting things like clothes and hair to the forces of gravity or wind, so that you can drop them on the floor to lie flat, which is how the various opponents clothes piles are created. However, it's not very reliable to use, and can provide some odd results. The utility I found makes it much simpler to use, and even allows me to simulate clothes on a model more easily. Daz has an annoying habit of treating things like skirts as rigid funnels, so that when you seat a model, the skirt tends to stick straight out As a Ney Year bonus, here iare two renders of Akane, one simulated and one unsimulated, not the hem of her long shirt.
Nd now after simulation...
It makes a lot of difference. So I'm just redoing some of Akane's and then Saiki's renders to make the shirt and skirt look better. Then it's on to Kanami.
