Is my game banned?

Hi, I'm a student from Korea. Because of my poor English skills, I made mistake. I used the term "child abuse" on my game description, and I realize it was a wrong term and I erased it right away.

After this other players visited my game but after about 10 hours, I can join my game but others can't, I check the public visibility.

Is my game banned? I fixed my mistakes and I'll never repeat it again.

Thanks for your time.

The game name is RoomooR

I'm curious why it was suspended to begin with. Let's suppose it was intended for the game to allude to child abuse: doesn't it make sense for this sort of subject matter to be in a horror game, which broaches horrifying subject matter such as child abuse? To be clear: I can understand a suspension if the game was glorifying child abuse, or if the game actually contained graphic descriptions/depictions of child abuse. But otherwise, as far as the mere mention/allusion to child abuse, shouldn't a content warning suffice-- and shouldn't players decide for themselves whether they wish to engage with potentially triggering media? Because to me, it seems appropriate for the genre.

Forgive me if this is a silly question, I only ask after browsing the TOS and community guidelines, and not finding anything on the matter.

(Of course, if ParkMinJoke failed to put up aforementioned content warning/adult content warning, then I can ALSO understand the suspension...)

It’s unclear if that was the reason of the suspension in the first place. I imagine only the admins know the real reasons.

But otherwise, as far as the mere mention/allusion to child abuse, shouldn’t a content warning suffice– and shouldn’t players decide for themselves whether they wish to engage with potentially triggering media?

I know in some countries, depicting children getting harmed in any way is illegal. I don’t know how many countries out there have such laws, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of international marketplaces just prohibit such content, to be safe.

This is just my understanding of how this works, I do not know for a fact how any marketplace (including Itch.io) makes such decisions.

Yeah, it's worth acknowledging that I'm making an assumption here as to why the game was suspended. Could have been for another reason.
But also - damn, I'd think that merely mentioning something isn't equivalent to depicting something.

I'll tell the truth. I'm currently a student in Korea who learning game dev, and this game is my school project. We have to publish a game until tomorrow and RoomooR is the game we want to publish. But because of my poor English I just want to say "a criminal who confine" but I mistranslated it as "child abusing". With my immature thinking, I think our game got suspended. I really have no purpose to make social issues.  If, there is another reason please tell me I'll fix it. I really want to publish my game until tomorrow.

Thank you.
