Custom CSS to make middle portion of itch page somewhat transparent

Just as the title says. I've been trying to add animated snow to my page (and been somewhat successful!) but the middle portion of the page That has screenshots, text, header image etc. I want to make that portion mostly see-through as Starsnap did. Anybody know if W3 schools are other resource can point me in the right direction?

here is a screenshot of that:

If I understand you correctly, you can do that without custom CSS. Go to your page and select “Edit Theme”. There should be a button with the label “More options…” which will reveal a slider with the label “BG2 Alpha”. When you adjust that, you change the alpha of the background panel that hosts the text and the screenshots.

Hope that was what you were looking for.

Oh my God thank you!
