So going through itch, I have seen a huge influx of visual novel games, and I dont like them, but I cant seem to find a way to filter those out. I really hate seeing a page of nothing but visual novels or dating sims or whatever, and have been getting turned away from searching for new games because of this. So I was wondering, is there a way to filter out games, or will there be in the future?

It's possible to exclude a tag from the results when browsing games using a special URL right now: https://itch.io/t/160014/can-i-use-exclusion-filters

There's no way at the moment to set that from the UI, but it's something we need to add: https://github.com/itchio/itch.io/issues/738 and https://github.com/itchio/itch.io/issues/475
