Favorite Memory?

Ended up making an account to post this. I'm curious as to what is everyone’s favorite memory and how come in the VN is so far. I’ll go first.

For me, it’s when you’re in the underground realm(?)The place where everything looks upside down and you build a fire or something with Asterion. I can’t remember the exact details but I know how that scene and the emotional journey it took to get there was important to the story AND your relationship with the Minotaur. The moment I saw the background and heard the music, I was mesmerized. It all fits together so well. The track name is Foolish Child by Toni Castells and listening to it back gave me chills, good ones. I’m a Music Major and one of the first things we’re taught is how the purpose of music is the evoke emotion and that’s exactly what this track adds, a distinct feelings my mind: Love, Hope, Calm Before The Storm, Serenity, Comfort. The scene, interaction, writing, and music all came together like a beautiful symphonic piece in my mind.

Honestly I didn't really get chills there.  I was bawling my eyes out so much I could barely read though.

Guess I would say when Nick introduced himself.  His real self.

i was captivated from the underground scene all the way through the rest of the game so far, there were just SO many great moments...  one smaller detail i really loved was seeing asterion's reactions to your choices during the drinking game, seeing his face light up when you match some of his answers brings me life 💞

There are so many scenes to highlight. going to the underground floors with asterion, wrestling with him, brushing his fur, the kiss, asterion and argos talking, every scene with p and storm in it etc.

But there's one that that really stuck with me, and it's not even from this build, when the mc and asterion are going up stairs.

''What an odd pair the two of you make. Thousands  of times have the Masters and their servant walked up and down these stairs, but never did they do so side by side while swaying to the same song

Generation after generation, the minotaur has done his best to stick to the  shadows. The less he was noticed, the smaller the chance a lord's ire would turn against him.

But looking from afar, when one can't identify the features and clothing.
What distinguishes a lord from his subject?

Perhaps  only a pair of horns and hooves. Although... humanity is quite pliable, is it not? ''

I dont know why, but i really like this scene.

On my first playthrough, everything surrounding Asterion and the phrase "I want" really hit me. Him slowly allowing himself desire was incredibly emotional.

I'll say Chapter 18 in general is a beautiful clusterfuck, especially in the leadership route*. I believe that's the only route where Nikos and Asterion are online pen pals, however since this was my first route it felt like the intended path. So Chapter 18 with the stupidly gorgeous Seikilos Guitar I, having our first kiss only to interrupted at the end of the scene by the tablet alarm going off with Nikos freaking out and Asterion smugly inviting him into the hotel by giving him impossible directions (I need Nikos reaction to getting those directions), Not-father and son, Argos v. Argos, Hermes, PUNCHING HERMES. It was a clusterfuck in the best way possible. Then it ends with Seikilos Guitar IV, which is a song that you play to lead into the credits at the end of a story, not to close off a chapter. It's exhilarating and the best end to an "update" I've experienced in any VN.

*Oh I just had the fun idea of making my leader an idiot. I don't think anything will top my art MC, who has selective amnesia and has been told repeatedly by "Argos" that he can enter the hotel without permission, yet is confused every single time it has happened lmao MORE THAN SPEEDRUNNER EVEN. That dumbass who wrecked his food to cheer (???) Asterion up. How?

I think the underground scene was absolutely what cemented this series in my mind as one of my favourite stories of all time. I agree with OP's "mesmerised": I was almost speechless in response to the ethereal environment, the manner at which you grow closer to Asterion there, and of course that velvety, albeit otherworldly soundtrack from Castells. Just incredible.

Also any scene with Greta

Too bad past experience has left me treating such environments like a 2nd norm.  I'm with you on the soundtrack though.

I refuse to believe that anyone can actually dislike Greta

(+1)

Greta is the God The Olympians don't want you to know about

(+2)

New theory:

Greta is actually Prometheus, who out of love for humanity gave the hotel "Internet." Her punishment was to be doomed into a relationship with an insufferable weeb

(+1)

Even Atlas wouldn't change places with them! I have no doubt Prometheus saw that Hestia already made the fire, and was like, "fuck it, fine, I'll just give them Twitter"

Make it happen, MH team.

This is canon
