I'm a kind of new single developer and I have no ideas for games. anyone have any ideas?

Games and interactive media form such an expansive medium that it can be hard to decide what to make at first.

Take a look at some of the game jam prompts, or google for a generator (e.g. this one).  If you still struggle look at some submissions for inspiration, or even try to clone a mechanic that seems cool.

Try to limit yourself to a small set of core mechanics (even just one). Imposing limitations at the outset can make it easier to think up ideas.

Take a relatively simple game you like and make a clone. As you go through that hopefully you will think of some things you wish to add or change in the game.

I am really suspicious to talk, but i love shumps and they are quite good to start with. Them or platformers are easy game mechanics to make and learn as a first time dev.  Try to pick a tutorial or a small course and follow it trough the end! Then choose a theme and create characters, new visuals or music based on your preference or imagination!

Idk if a game jam is a good place for your very first game, cause it can lead you to frustration deppending how you aproach it!

Yes, completely agree with the point about avoiding participating in a game jam initially. My suggestion was about using the jam prompts to stimulate creativity, just to clarify.
