Basically, if you get the exact post number of the topic and put /reply at the end, you can reply to the topic when there isn't a reply button.

Took me a moment to see what you did there. I don't think that counts as hacking itch.io or anything, but it is a good reminder that web apps aren't desktop apps and we shouldn't try to pretend. Good catch!

It is a bug though, so thanks for the report I suppose. In the future if you found a bug we ask that you tell us instead of asking “will I be banned for doing this.”
