"We can't process your payment right now" error when purchasing

Several people have reported that they're unable to buy my game, even after trying multiple times on different days. The error looks like this: 

This is a very vague message, so I'm not sure what's causing this -- Some people are able to buy my game, this is only affecting a few people. If anyone could shed some light on this I'd really appreciate it! 


Hey,  this error message comes from PayPal, so we can't get any information about why it's happening. Generally stuff like this is due to something with the combination of the buyer and seller's account. It could be a regional or account verification thing. I see that you're using direct PayPal as your payment method. I recommend using deferred mode so's PayPal address is used for the transaction.
