I'm sorry but I believe what you are saying are just rumors fake ones, in fact, I used it a lot of times, and actually, it doesn't fuck up your browser data if it did it would have been more of a problem but no not at all those statements are fake. I used it myself and you even have a lock which means your data personal info is safe.
