Hey guys, I just released my first game today (https://sweepingavalanche.itch.io/devoul), and I was wondering if there is a way to see my game on that first pop up that apears when you first enter itch.io (advertising recent games).
Can I do something for that or is this resposability for the creators of itch.io?

If it’s a new game, it will appear there automatically. If it’s your first paid title, it might take a bit longer as it needs manual approval by an admin.
If it’s a game that has been uploaded for a while, but was just finished and released, make a new devlog marked as “Major Update”. That will mark your project to go through a similar process as if it was being uploaded for the first time.

How long does it take for a game to apear? More than a week now and nothing... Does it really apear when you release it, or is it a choise from the admins?
It seems to me that the admins are the ones that chose what games apear there. I dont have a problem with that, I just wanted to know if any game does apear or not XD
Does anybody now for sure how it is? Maybe someone else is also curious about this.
